Preliminary Task

Today we have started to discuss our preliminary task.

Our group consists of 3 members:

Sultan Mackinnon

Henri Yueksel

Ahmed Mohammed

Preliminary Task:

Continuity task involving filming and editing a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite, with whom she/he then exchanging a couple of lines of dialogue. This task should demonstrate match on action, shot/reverse shot and the 180-degree rule.

Story

A young teenager is going to a medical centre, where he has booked an appointment. As the teenager enters the room the doctor asks him a couple of questions. After the short interview the doctor gives the medication to the teenager. The patient leaves the room.

Dialogue

Ahmed: "Hello Sir, have you got an appointment?"

Sultan: "Yes I do" (hands sheet over)

Ahmed: (checks computer for details),
(gives medication to patient) "There you go sir, you will need to take it every three houres."

Sultan: "Thank you doctor. Have a nice day!"
